The Carpet Bag Pattern by Donna Collins

This roomy tote comes in two sizes. The small bag is 8” wide X 8.5” tall X 8” deep. The large bag is 9.5” wide X 11” tall X 9” deep. The large boxy body flattens down as a soft handbag or expands when filled up. It has exterior pockets to allow easy access to cell phone, keys, etc. It can be made into a backpack. Magnetic snap closures and cover flaps provide security for contents. The lined interior has 1 zippered pocket, along with other general use pockets. Add machine embroidery designs to the spacious front and back exterior sides.

This Carpet Bag is made from green upholstery fabric with pink dots. The contrast fabric is pink velveteen. Inside linking is pink print. There are 3 inside pockets (1 zipped) and 2 outside pockets (1 front and 1 back) with pink velveteen contrasting trim. Illusions embroidery designs decorate the front and back sewn in hot pink matching embroidery thread. Self fabric handles are sewn into the seam. Silver magnetic snap closures.

This carpet bag is made of Denim with contrasting red/white gingham design fabric for trim and lining. Silver magnetic snap closure.  It has 4 inside pockets and 2 large outside pockets (1 on the back and 1 on the front) with contrasting fabric trim.
