Next draw the neck opening. Make it 5x7 for a smaller person and 6x9 for a larger person.

Now use your dinner plates, saucers, etc to draw the curves.

Draw the lines for the pocket as indicated by the dashed line. Your finished pattern should look like this

Optional Apron: Add grosgrain ribbon ties as indicated in the diagram.
Optional: Cutline for velcro closure if you do not want a pull over the head version.

Cut out the pattern. Lay the pattern onto the fabric - across the grain on the fabric
Cut out the fabric across the grain of the fabric. Cut out the pocket across the grain of the fabric.
Zigzag stitch bias tape across the top of the pocket. Straight stitch sew the pocket to the apron across the bottom and sides. Zigzag sew bias tape around the neck opening. Zigzag sew bias tape all the way around the bib. Straight stitch sew a line down the center of the pocket.
All done!
