SUGGESTED FABRICS: Midweight and lightweight fabrics such as cotton, rayon, batiste; challis; silks; polyester and poly blends.

NOTIONS: Thread for garment construction; Light weight machine embroidery thread - Recommend 60 weight cotton or 40 weight rayon (see yardages below); Heavy weight water-soluble stabilizer (see yardages below).

SIZE CHART: All measurements given in inches.

YARDAGES:*
Longest view Nightgown/Dress/Jumper A all sizes – 2 7/8 yds. 44” / 45” fabric; 2 2/3 yds. 58” / 60” fabric.
Blouse B all sizes – 2 3/8 yds. 44” / 45” fabric; 2 yds. 58” / 50” fabric.
*Yardage is given for fabric with or without nap. Additional fabric may be needed to match stripes, plaids, or one-way designs.

** Using the same thread in the top and the bobbin.

PLEASE NOTE:
         This pattern requires dressmaking skills. If you are a novice sewer seek the assistance of an experienced seamstress.
         This pattern requires an embroidery machine to make the lace.

Even our white cotton gauze test garment turned out beautiful!

I cut this one off and made a blouse because I thought this lace looked so gorgeous against jeans. The gauze cotton fabric is light weight and cool for the summer.
