“Babies” was inspired by a friend and co-worker whose first baby turned out to be twins, a boy and a girl.
We had a jolly good time conspiring, preparing, and decorating for her special shower.
They received LOTS of great stuff and were thrilled with everything.



“Babies” is a large, multi-part machine embroidery project, divided into sections that may be sewn in the 5x7 or 6x10 hoops.  While the original project is in several colors, a monochromatic (all one color) design can also be sewn. Simply keep the same thread in the machine for the whole project. “Babies” allows for embroidery flower centers or replace them with hand sewn on pearls as I did my project. This gives an additional dimension and elegance to the design.
