I wanted an 8 Point Star runner for the top of our blanket chest.
This is the result.

The Broken Star layout is too cool not to make.

Made into a stool pillow
This pillow has a tie on all 4 corners.

This is Judy Whittimore’s Gorgeous Tablerunner

This design is all embroidery thread.
The stitching is open decorative and textured fills.
There is no applique or piecing in the hoop.
To make the star simply sew 4 of blocks together.
The layouts for the broken star are shown below.
